Meet The Founder
Jason Schick
Jason Schick, Managing Partner of Tamarack Search Group, brings over 20 years of experience in business consulting, sales, and recruitment. His career spans Fortune 100 companies to high-growth startups, where he’s partnered with clients to drive transformation through effective leadership and strategic talent acquisition.
Coming from three generations of engineers, Jason once aspired to follow in their footsteps—until differential equations had other plans. He pivoted into finance but never lost his passion for the built environment. That passion eventually led to the founding of Tamarack Search Group. If he couldn't be involved in the projects directly, he figured he’d help build the teams that are.
Jason lives in the Puget Sound area with his wife, Ruby, and their amazing daughter. Outside of work, you’ll likely find him running the blueberry trail with their dog Rusty, exploring the beautiful PNW with friends and family, or diving into his next DIY home project (which Ruby is not always thrilled about).
